This product is designed to significantly improve the clear coat of scratched cars, restoring and protecting exterior black plastics. It is perfect for older vehicles with clear coat issues and newer vehicles with hairline or semi-deep scratches, as long as the damage is confined to the clear coat. You can expect scratches to look 60-90% better. The treatment also rejuvenates surrounding black plastics, including headlights, making them look like new. This protection lasts for 9 to 12 months, depending on how well the vehicle is cleaned and maintained.

For Scratched surfaces, We suggest using it in the following ways:

a. Only on the exterior of a vehicle

b. On panels that are between 10-43°C

c. In environments of less than 90% humidity

d. In a well-ventilated area

e. While wearing gloves/masks/PPE

f. Keeping the vehicle dry for 24 to 48 hours after applying

g. Practicing on a small panel of a car first before tackling the entire vehicle

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Prep/Wash

    • Cleaning and prepping are crucial. Wash the area where you’ll apply the product with water and/or detailing spray.

    • For the best results, wipe the area with Wax and Grease Remover. Use a Clay Bar for additional prep.

    • Ensure the area is dry before application.

  2. Application

    • Shake the bottle with the cap on.

    • Replace the original cap with the clear nozzle provided in the package.

    • Apply the product to a folded shop towel or micro applicator. Ensure there's enough product on the towel to maintain a wet edge throughout the entire panel. Keep the bottle handy – if the towel starts to dry out, apply more product to keep it wet.

    • Start at the top corner of the panel to allow excess product to drip down.

    • Hold the towel with a flat hand. Using light pressure, glide edge to edge on the panel, overlapping the edges of your lines. Disperse the product evenly across the panel. If you miss a spot in the first 2-3 minutes, take a full, gentle line back through that area. Ensure that you don't miss any spots, but don't overdo it.

    • You have a 2-3 minute window to work with. DO NOT go back over an area after that time period.

    • *** If there's a significant mistake in the coating application and you need to remove it, stripping the coating is much easier within 15 minutes of initial application. Scrub the coating with Wax and Grease Remover. If you need to remove the coating after it has cured, you will need to wet sand or use a heavy solvent.

  3. Curing/After-Care

    • The application needs 24 hours to cure. Do not touch the area or let it get wet for at least 24 hours after application. Once cured, you’ll have a long-lasting coating. Note that the more product you apply, the longer it will take to cure.

    • You can hand wash the vehicle 48 hours after application. We recommend NOT taking the vehicle through an automatic car wash, as these can scratch the coating just as they can with a regular clear coat.

Common Mistakes

  • Streak lines: Caused by too many overlapping passes in direct sunlight or applying in a random, obscure motion. Apply in straight lines and avoid going over an area more than once.

  • Rainbowing or Excessive Low Spots: This is usually due to not using enough product. Ensure there is enough on your towel. Apply with light, even pressure.

  • Fish Eyes/Solvent Pops: To avoid pops in the paint, ensure the area does not get wet and wait 24 hours for the first layer to cure before applying more.

  • Dirt Nibs: To avoid specs of dirt in the coat, thorough cleaning and prepping are essential. If dirt appears in your final result, the prep work was likely insufficient.
